Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke's Health System is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Cardiology Wellness Center at the Plaza In this LPN role, you will have the opportunity to work remote from your home 1 day per week in the KC Metro area as allowed by clinic need. Candidates must live in the KC Metro area. Work from home Responsibilities:

- Answer calls from internal staff, pharmacies, external healthcare providers, and patients.
- Review normal lab results with patients.
- Process refill requests.
- Address patient questions, complaints, and/or concerns.
- FMLA paperwork and other administrative responsibilities.
- Assist Medical Assistants when needed with EKGs, Rooming Patients, Monitor Patches and Rhythm Monitors.
- Assist RNs within scope of practice with walk-in visits and other responsibilities.
- Answer calls from internal staff, pharmacies, external healthcare providers, and patients.
- Review normal lab results with patients.
- Process refill requests.
- Address patient questions, complaints, and/or concerns.
- FMLA paperwork and other administrative responsibilities.
- Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
- Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes.
- Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as autonomously.
- Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.
- May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
