Laboratory Technician

Overview Job Title : Laboratory Technician Duration : 06+ Months Location : St Joseph, MO 64507 Shift : Monday – Friday; 8:AM – 5:00PM Pay Rate : $19/hr on W2 (All inclusive) Base pay range $19.00/hr - $19.00/hr Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine tests & analyses following all ILVT guidelines. Receive, collect, and process samples. Report & log testing results using SAP. Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area. Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred. General laboratory experience preferred. Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP preferred. Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement. Strong attention to detail Ability to read and perform technical testing methods.
