In This Role You Will Own and develop a defined Florida territory, building relationships with engineers, calibration labs, test facilities, and technical stakeholders across aerospace, defense, contract manufacturing, and related industries. You will guide customers through highly technical test and measurement challenges, helping them determine the right application and solution across a broad portfolio that includes RF and microwave, power, EMC, environmental simulation, and metrology equipment. You will manage and expand an existing customer base while identifying new opportunities, spending approximately 60% of your time in the field. This is a consultative, problem‑solving role where success comes from understanding applications, asking the right technical questions, and becoming a trusted resource over time. There is no plug-and-play motion. You will be expected to learn a broad portfolio of highly specialized equipment, understand customer applications, and manage multiple opportunities at different stages simultaneously. Territory & Travel Florida-based territory covering Tampa, Miami, and surrounding regions Approximately 60% in the field, typically 3 days per week Overnight travel expected about one week per month, including South Florida and occasional Puerto Rico travel Bilingual capability is a strong plus Qualifications Electrical engineering or mechanical engineering background preferred Calibration lab, metrology lab, or test lab experience highly relevant Experience working with test and measurement equipment or technical instrumentation Technical military background such as Air Force PMEL strongly applicable Early-career candidates with strong technical foundation are viable Candidates without a degree must have meaningful technical experience, ideally 4+ years Ability to understand applications at a high level and ask strong technical questions NOT a fit: purely transactional backgrounds or candidates without technical exposure Key Traits Curious and inquisitive Listens more than they speak Able to manage multiple priorities and moving opportunities Strong follow-through, including forecasting and deadlines Comfortable building relationships in technical environments Motivated, resourceful, and driven #J-18808-Ljbffr
