Registered Nurse (PRN)

Griswold Home Care is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Northern Virginia team in a highly flexible PRN role. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working independently and wants to use their clinical experience in a meaningful way without committing to a traditional full-time nursing schedule. The role focuses primarily on client assessments, developing and updating Plans of Care, documentation, and clinical oversight for our non-medical home care clients. What you’ll do: Conduct initial client assessments and periodic reassessments Develop and update care plans as needed Provide clinical oversight consistent with Virginia home care requirements Support caregiver competency and training needs Review changes in client condition and provide guidance when appropriate Complete required documentation and records Serve as a clinical resource to our office team What we’re looking for: Current, unrestricted Virginia RN license Home care, home health, geriatric, senior care, or related experience preferred Strong assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable, responsive, and well organized Comfortable communicating with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff Is this role a good fit for you?
