MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Healthcare Claims Assistant II, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of North Carolina Medicaid. You will play a crucial role in processing orthodontic prior approval requests. Support clinically licensed review staff by preparing orthodontic cases for review timely and accurately. Collaborate with team lead, supervisor, orthodontic review staff, and other prior approval team members. Drive timely and accurate reviews and decisions on orthodontic cases and success meeting our contractual service level agreements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Experience: 1+ years of related experience

Technical skills:

• Dental/Orthodontic office experience a plus
• Medicaid/NCTracks experience a plus
• MS Office proficient - particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Problem solving skills
• Data Entry experience
• Superior organizational work flow skills (ability to work through large volumes quickly while staying organized)

US citizenship required: Yes

Role requirements: Hybrid work environment; Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm EST

Place of performance: 5444 Wade Park Blvd, Raleigh NC

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $18.70 - $25.30. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
