Trappers Sushi Enumclaw is looking for a Dishwasher!

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher who takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Collect used dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment from designated areas.
• Load, operate, and unload commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash oversized, delicate, or specialty items by hand as needed.
• Ensure dishes, utensils, tools, and cookware are properly cleaned, sanitized, organized, and returned to the correct locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area throughout each shift.
• Remove garbage, recycling, and compost according to company procedures.
• Clean and sanitize assigned kitchen areas, storage spaces, floors, equipment, and restrooms.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all labeling, storage, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and promptly notify a manager when inventory is low.
• Inspect dishwashing equipment and report maintenance or sanitation concerns.
• Support the kitchen team during peak service periods by anticipating needs and communicating proactively.
• Follow all food-safety, health, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.

What You Bring

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior dishwashing, restaurant, or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to contribute as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to safely use commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen employees and restaurant leadership.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on business needs.
• Washington State Food Worker Card required or must be obtained within 14 days of beginning work.

The Physical Stuff

• Restaurant-based position performed in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around heat, steam, water, cleaning chemicals, food allergens, slippery surfaces, and moderate-to-high noise levels.
• Ability to work an eight-hour or longer shift as scheduled.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
