Quality Compliance Manager

Summary The Quality Compliance Manager leads the internal quality compliance technical staff, managing Hollister’s site compliance initiatives including external certifications (AS9100, ISO9001), U.S. Government audits (DCMA, MDA) and corrective action requests (GCAR, CCAR, ICAR). The role participates in daily operations, collaborates with Operations Quality, Quality Inspection, and Supplier Quality managers to resolve critical quality issues impacting site compliance. Responsibilities Develop and implement career development plans for compliance quality engineers, including skill development, cross‑training, and promotion opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key customers such as DCMA, MDA, Lockheed, Raytheon, Boeing, General Dynamics and non‑U.S. based customers. Design onboarding standard work and procedures for new compliance quality engineers. Ensure proficiency in causal analysis tools and lead multi‑disciplinary root‑cause investigations. Develop, advocate and maintain key performance indicators for the compliance function. Provide training on metric usage and support future AI‑driven automation of collection, analysis and metrics optimization. Plan and execute strategic quality process enhancements, incorporating automated compliance capabilities and AI for risk identification and mitigation. Provide compliance leadership for non‑CA sites such as Solon (Cleveland, OH) and future locations. Act as facilitator and provide quality leadership during internal and external audits (AS9100D, U.S. Government audits, PPB). Execute additional responsibilities as they arise. Support operations with a 5‑day, 8‑hour workweek and quality weekend staff requirements. Minimum Qualifications BS Degree in a technical engineering or quality‑related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 10 years in quality‑centric roles such as compliance quality, operations quality, program/platform quality or supplier quality; manufacturing engineering leadership experience may substitute. Proficient knowledge of Quality Engineering principles and practices. Expert knowledge and experience with AS9100D, ISO9001:2015 and other industry quality standards. Proficiency in corrective actions and problem‑solving methodologies (CAPA) and ability to train others in causal analysis. Proficiency in Lean operations/process engineering principles. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Advanced degree in a technical engineering, quality or operations‑related field. Minimum 5+ years as a Compliance or Quality Manager; manufacturing engineering leadership may substitute. Compensation and Benefits Eligible for bonus as part of total compensation package. Salary range: $104,300 – $193,700 (local currency). Role is subject to U.S. Government export control regulations. Candidates must be U.S. persons or secure necessary authorizations.
