Appropriate Drug Therapy Management of critically ill patients Fully Accredited Stroke Center 18‑bed Cardiac Observation Unit working closely with ED Multidisciplinary ED team: MD, APP, RN, C‑RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience & Patient Access. Key Metrics 75,000‑90,000 visits per year Licensed for 59 beds Patient‑to‑RN ratio 3/4:1 Level III trauma center Triage and assessment of patient complaints Patient discharge education Responsibilities The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The staff nurse functions within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care. Qualifications Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing – Required Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred Work Experience No experience required. New Graduates of a nursing program eligible – Required Hospital nursing experience – Preferred 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions – Preferred Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse – Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (current in Georgia) – Required Basic Life Support (BCLS) – Required Advanced specialty certification, if applicable (see addendum) #J-18808-Ljbffr
