BAKER

Bakers are responsible for baking pastries to fill up the sweet bread and pastry display cases while ensur ing they’re always fresh for customers. They provid e a wide variety of bread for customers as well as bak e cakes for the cake decorating department. Bakers also help in creating new recipes for pastries/bread for special occasions, holidays, or when needed. Requirements Previousexperiencebaking in a professional environment Have experience with general bakingsupplies (portioning, measuring, weighing, etc.) Know how to workwith basic technology if needed (computers, tablets, email, applications, etc.) Food Workers Card Have reliable commute to work Physical: must be able to standand move around during the day,liftand carryup to 30lbs Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially around holidays and weekends Know how toproperly useandmaintainbakery ovens and machineryor willingness to learn Responsibilities Maintain an active Food Workers Card* Have a positive attitude towards safety, follow all health and safety regulations and/or policies to ensure the well-being of others and self Attend work with company provided uniform and have a tidy appearance Baking freshpastries, cake, and moreaccording to company policies Fulfill specialized bread orders for customers Ensure bread display cases are presentable and clean Take inventoryofingredients andsupplies to ensure there are always enough for day-to-day operations Use provided technology tosubmitsupply orders for the bakery department Accurately follow pre-existing company recipes and create new recipeswhen needed Oversee bakery helpersto ensure the Bakery department runs smoothly Complete otherBakerytasks under Managers’ instructions #J-18808-Ljbffr
