Summary:
- Responsible for ensuring that quality control processes and procedures meet all Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement QC policies to the jobsite.
- Ensures that all Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced; responsible for safety on site.
- Ensures that all Nicholson quality standards are met.
- Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly to PM.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum of 3 years of QC Experience
- Geotechnical preferred
- Basic knowledge of bidding and job costing procedures
- Knowledgeable in structural and geotechnical designs related to our techniques
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook relative to reporting site construction and engineering activities
- Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.

- Assess safety and risk
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, pull and push at least 40 pounds
- Travel per the company travel policy, including overnight and away from home.
