Electrical AssemblerThe Electrical Assembler is responsible for wiring circuit boards, assembling electrical sub-units using power tools and soldering equipment, and supporting production by operating wave solder machines and performing solder repairs. This role focuses on precise electrical assembly work guided by blueprints, diagrams, and schematics in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesWire circuit boards and electrical sub-assemblies according to diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.Assemble electrical sub-units using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.Operate wave solder machines to support production processes.Perform solder repairs on circuit boards and electrical components as needed.Crimp, strip, and terminate wires to specified standards.Follow detailed electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.Inspect completed assemblies for proper wiring, solder quality, and adherence to specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety procedures.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets.Report any defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to appropriate personnel.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year of electrical assembly experience.At least 1 year of wiring experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.At least 1 year of experience reading diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.Ability to perform basic soldering on electrical components and circuit boards.Proficiency in wiring techniques, including crimping and terminating connections.Ability to interpret and follow electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics accurately.Comfort using hand tools and power tools for electrical assembly work.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in electrical assemblies.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of circuit board soldering experience is preferred.Experience operating wave solder machines is an advantage.Familiarity with clean, organized manufacturing environments.Basic understanding of electrical safety practices.Ability to work overtime as needed to support production demands.Why Work Here?Employees work in a recently renovated, medium-sized manufacturing facility that is well-lit, organized, clean, and climate controlled, supporting comfort and productivity throughout the day. The position is on first shift, typically running from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with approximately 2 hours of overtime per day as needed to meet production requirements. Employees are required to wear jeans, steel toe boots, and a t-shirt without obscene graphics, reflecting a practical, safety-focused dress code suitable for a manufacturing environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
