Desktop Support Manager

Desktop Support SupervisorOur client is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of its IT support team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional technical support while mentoring a team of desktop support professionals in a fast-paced educational environment.The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with excellent communication skills who is fluent in both English and Spanish and has experience supporting users in a school or educational setting.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor a team of Desktop Support TechniciansAssign, prioritize, and monitor daily support requests to ensure timely resolutionProvide hands-on desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support when neededTroubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and end-user issuesSupport Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applicationsManage user accounts, permissions, and workstation deploymentsCoordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and replacementsEnsure IT support tickets are resolved within established service levelsMaintain accurate documentation of support activities and IT assetsPartner with school administrators, faculty, and staff to deliver outstanding customer serviceAssist with IT projects, technology rollouts, and classroom technology supportQualifications5+ years of Desktop Support experience2+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT support teamFluent in both English and Spanish (required)Previous experience working in a K-12 school, school district, college, or educational environment is highly preferredStrong knowledge of:Windows 10/11Microsoft 365Active DirectoryDesktop and laptop hardwarePrinters and peripheralsBasic networking conceptsExperience with ticketing systems and IT asset managementExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsStrong customer service mindset with the ability to support both technical and non-technical usersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting classroom technologyExperience with Google Workspace for EducationKnowledge of audiovisual classroom equipmentCompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plusIf you're a bilingual IT professional who enjoys leading people, solving technical challenges, and supporting an educational environment, we'd love to hear from you.
