Details Post Surgical PACU unit in a hospital setting Day shift schedule of 4, 10-hour rotating shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) Full time contract for 13 weeks Weekend requirement of 2 weekends per month (12-hour shifts, Sat/Sun counts as 1 weekend) On-call requirement of one night per week Floating required within surgical services Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active NM RN license or compact license required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Additional Information Coordinates and implements patient care specific to age of population served in PACU Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning Performs point of care testing procedures Graphite gray scrubs required Must reside within 50 miles of the facility Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being considered for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-750693.
