Labcorp Phlebotomist – Clayton, NC Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Clayton, NC. Work Schedule Every weekend: Friday 7:30 am – 6:30 pm, Saturday 9 am – 3 pm, Sunday 9 am – 1 pm Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification, completion of a phlebotomy training program, or at least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
