As of 2023, JCDecaux North America has been certified as a Great Place to Work.JCDecaux is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant who will report to VP, Materials Management and will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and move products, as well as performing various other duties to maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. This is a full-time position based in our Maspeth warehouse.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stack products in accordance with company standards.Support the team with general warehouse tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager or supervisor.Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by correctly labeling and documenting all products moved or stored.Participate in regular stock counts and audits as required.Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift, reporting any issues to the supervisor.Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Assist in organizing and rearranging stock as needed for optimal space utilization.Qualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.At least three years of experience in warehouse, stockroom or inventory control position required.Valid forklift operator certification/license is required.Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage.Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to [weight limit] pounds.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation purposes.Benefits:Medical / Dental / VisionHSA / FSAFinancial Health Support401K MatchPet InsuranceCommuter BenefitsWellness IncentivesEmployer Assistance ProgramBase Salary Range: $21.00 per hour Disclosed as required by the New York City Pay Transparency Law (11-1-2022) JCDecaux North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
