Role Summary The Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day accounting operations at Rebel Athletic by handling data entry, transaction processing, and basic account reconciliation tasks. This role ensures accuracy and consistency in financial records while assisting the accounting team with reporting and administrative functions. The position is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while building foundational accounting skills. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Transaction Processing Input financial data and transactions into accounting systems accurately and timely Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents Maintain and update accounting records and spreadsheets Accounts Payable and Receivable Support Assist with vendor invoice processing and payment tracking Support accounts receivable functions including payment application and tracking Help resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments Reconciliations and Reporting Assist with account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies Support preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules Maintain organized documentation for financial records Administrative and Team Support Provide general administrative support to the accounting team Assist with audit preparation and documentation as needed Support special projects and ad hoc tasks Required Qualifications 1 to 2 years of accounting or administrative experience in a similar role, with similar duties Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software Exposure to accounts payable or accounts receivable processes Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience Experience with accounting or ERP systems Compensation Range $48,000 - $55,000 Benefits Highlights At Rebel Athletic, we offer a benefits package designed to support our employees both professionally and personally, including: Paid Time Off (PTO) Company-paid holidays available immediately upon hire Annual discretionary bonus opportunity Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage Voluntary benefit options including supplemental life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and additional coverages 401(k) plan with company match Benefit eligibility and effective dates are based on company policy and plan requirements.
