Senior Accountant

Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus D3 Search is seeking a Snr. Accountant on behalf of a highly respected CA-based law practice with a long-standing headquartered office located in downtown Los Angeles, CA (90071). Position Title: Snr. Accountant Responsibilities Assist with all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Payroll processes. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Assist with the preparation of daily cash flow reports for management. Assist in resolving accounting issues for the accounting, billing and electronic billing departments and client accounts. Work with the firm’s CPA in complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, tax filings, gathering and preparing of documents for the firm's annual tax reports and K 1's. Assist with preparation of contract attorney schedules. Coordinate the preparation of corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting. Assist with quarterly and monthly special reports and spreadsheets per the request of the Controller or CFO. Monitor all billings and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Additional ad hoc reporting duties as necessary. Requirements 5+ years relevant LAW FIRM/LEGAL SERVICES accounting experience is REQUIRED. Strong knowledge of Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Payroll processes. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Ability to prepare daily cash flow reports and assist with regulatory and financial reporting. Ability to coordinate with firm CPA for tax filings and annual tax documents.
