The Advanced Practice (AP) Team Leader role includes clinical practice and administrative duties such as assisting with program development, performance management, quality data, and outcome-based performance initiatives. The Advanced Practice Team Leader is responsible for onboarding, managing orientation, and providing performance feedback for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs in partnership with a collaborating physician(s)).

Key responsibilities include balancing clinical practice with administrative duties to oversee APPs, leading a team of APCs, working closely with the AP Manager, Medical Director, and unit/clinic Nursing Leadership to ensure operational efficiency, and ensuring optimal clinical operations and delivery of patient care.

Position qualifications include certifications such as Licensed Nurse Practitioner and Physician's Assistant Certified in Tennessee, relevant work experience, and a master's degree.
