Senior Tax Accountant / Analyst

LHH is assisting our Louisville-based healthcare client in their search for a qualified Senior Tax Analyst. Reporting to the Corporate Tax Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation of tax related filings and reports, including federal, state, and local income tax returns. The ideal candidate is a well‑rounded tax professional who works independently, proactively identifies issues, and effectively manages deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Manages and coordinate the income tax compliance process in partnership with external tax service providers, including federal, state, local, and international filings, estimated payments, and extensions for the Company and its subsidiaries. Supports the Corporate Tax Manager with preparation and review of income tax provisions under ASC 740, including data collection, analysis, and documentation. Serves as a key point of contact for responding to tax authority inquiries and assisting with income tax audits and examinations. Collaborates with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and alignment with financial records. Identifies and implements opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate tax processes and controls.
