Licensed Practical Nurse - IDD

Thomasville, GA  |  $31.00 / Hour

We are looking for a licensed practical nurse  to provide specialized and attentive care for a variety of clients at a personal care facility in Thomasville. You will be responsible for working in a timely manner, upholding the facility’s expectations for cleanliness, and interacting with each client in a respectful and polite manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of individuals
• Administer medication as ordered
• Monitor mealtimes for safety
• Monitor, report, and record suspected side effects or change of condition
• Complete all necessary documentation
• Ensure home environment stays clean and orderly
• Report any concerns about individual’s needs, site, or van to supervisor promptly

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• LPN License
• Previous work experience preferred
• Work well in a fast paced environment
• Have strong communication skills
• A clean background check
• Be able to perform all of the duties listed above
• A clean drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Have personable customer service skills
• Be self-motivated and stay on task with minimal supervision
• Be able to work at least one weekend a month

Location:  Thomasville, Georgia

Pay rate: $31.00 / Hour 

Schedule: Monday – Friday PRN, Every other weekend 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
