Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse in Imaging, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing a plan of care, and implementing and evaluating care. As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, you will work collaboratively with the other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care. Formulate a plan of care, revise the plan based on the patient’s response to treatment and regularly evaluate plan for effectiveness Consult and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and revise the plan of care to meet the patient’s needs and goals Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy Delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice Provide pre- and post-operative patient care Provide education materials to patients and families on care and treatments Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team Education and Experience Graduate from an accredited nursing program or current enrollment in an Alternative Entry MSN program required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Minimum of one year of experience in a Staff RN role required One year of Staff RN experience in Imaging or Critical Care License and Certifications Current Texas RN License or a Compact RN license from a NCLA Compact State required. If Compact, a Texas RN license is required within 90 days of hire date.
