Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job

Overview Registered Nurse – MICU, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Travel temporary assignment starting 08/17/2026 for 10 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,139-$2,313 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour nights), 3 shifts weekly; end-of-week weekend coverage (EOW) is required. This position is in a hospital setting and requires ICU-level care competencies. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to MICU patients, including monitoring of critical conditions and rapid response to changes in status
• Perform and document ongoing assessments, vital signs, and progress notes; implement physician orders and care plans
• Manage complex therapies and devices (eg, ventilator support, monitoring, medications) in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Document in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure compliance with policy, safety, and infection control standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team; participate in rounds and care coordination
• Prioritize patient safety, respond to emergencies, and maintain a calm, organized approach during high-acuity events

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BSN degree
• ICU/MICU experience: 2+ years
• EPIC EMR experience
• Previous travel/contract nursing experience
• Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts; 3 shifts per week with EOW coverage
• RTO requests must allow all three shifts in a week to be worked
