Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $36.54 - $41.35/hour

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Onsite position

Assignment Details

• 6-month contract assignment
• No current plans for extension; however, assignment length may change based on business needs in early 2027.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Demand & Supply Chain Planning Analyst II (Global Trade Analyst) to support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and certification activities. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal business units, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and external partners to coordinate Certificate of Origin requests, resolve documentation issues, and ensure compliance with trade requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in trade compliance, supply chain, procurement, or customs operations and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Certificate of Origin requests and supplier solicitations.
• Coordinate communication between suppliers, manufacturing sites, procurement teams, and external partners.
• Troubleshoot issues involving incomplete, inaccurate, or missing origin documentation.
• Track and monitor Certificate of Origin requests to ensure timely completion.
• Collect and validate documentation required for Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification analyses.
• Escalate complex origin determination issues to Trade Compliance specialists when appropriate.
• Maintain organized records of supplier certifications, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Follow up with vendors regarding outstanding requests and documentation requirements.
• Generate reports and metrics related to supplier solicitation campaigns and response rates.
• Maintain master data logs and recommend updates as needed.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with teams across multiple global locations.
• Support continuous improvement of FTA certification processes and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support.
• Working knowledge of Certificates of Origin, supplier solicitations, and country-of-origin requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Full understanding of the USMCA qualification process and company obligations.
• Experience supporting Free Trade Agreement (FTA) compliance activities.
