Position Summary

\n

The Construction Project Manager is a full-time role based in our Gilbert, AZ office, with regular travel to job sites across Arizona, responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning project timelines, coordinating subcontractors and internal crews, and managing design-build and tenant improvement projects to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget. The role involves monitoring construction progress, conducting site meetings, resolving field issues, and maintaining strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers. The Construction Project Manager will review and approve change orders, track costs, and support procurement of materials and services while enforcing safety standards and quality control. This position also prepares regular project reports, maintains documentation, and supports continuous improvement of construction processes and client experience.

Responsibilities

\n

• Develop project schedules and monitor progress weekly.

\n

• Maintain organized records and documentation for each project.

\n

• Communicate regularly with owners and clients regarding project status and potential issues.

\n

• Prepare pricing proposals and change orders.

\n

• Provide weekly accounting and project financial reports.

\n

• Coordinate with design teams and clients to resolve RFIs and discrepancies, finalize selections, and distribute meeting minutes.

\n

• Initiate and manage the submittal process.

\n

• Manage subcontract agreements and approve subcontractor invoices.

\n

• Reconcile and approve monthly owner billings.

\n

• Work with field teams and clients to complete punch lists and achieve project closeout.

Qualifications

\n

• Demonstrated skills in commercial construction project management.

\n

• Relevant commercial construction experience.

\n

• Strong project management and coordination skills to plan, schedule, and oversee multiple projects.

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

\n

• Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial oversight of construction projects.

\n

• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.

\n

• Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Sage 300 CRE, or similar tools).

\n

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients, trade partners, and team members.

\n

• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems on-site, and make timely decisions under changing conditions.

\n

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

\n

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.

\n

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, OSHA 30) are a plus.
