Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our client in the metal finishing industry, is seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Operations Helper to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Racker, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team, supporting efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk/ Operations Helper

Location: Paramount, CA

Pay Range: $18 - $20/hr. (depends on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm + OT) M-F (Saturdays are required as needed)

What's the Job?

• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Complete all necessary paperwork and obtain the best rate quotes for shipments

• Receive, store, and distribute all deliveries efficiently

• Stock and restock items in their designated locations as needed

• Pick customer orders according to pick tickets, verifying item accuracy and quantities

• Clean the warehouse

• Utilize forklifts

• Other duties as assigned

What's Needed?

• Forklift experience required

• Ability to handle shipping and receiving tasks accurately and efficiently

• Strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail and safety consciousness
