Technician - Quality Assurance

Job Description Division: Atlanta Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday 09:00 PM‑05:30 AM The Technician – Quality Assurance will be responsible for testing finished products and specific packaging attributes to ensure that finished products meet required specifications as described by our Parent Company. Responsibilities Perform beverage attribute testing: Brix, Assay, CO2, Net Contents, pH, and Taste & Odor. Perform package attribute testing: Closure Removal Torques, Can Lid Application (where applicable), and Visual Appearance. Verify finished product attributes: Correct Bottle/Can, Closure/Lid, Label, Production Date Code, final packaging (Cases, Cartons, Trays, Wraps, etc.) and promotional identification. Collect and test micro samples (may be designated for micro testing; some technicians may not perform this). Test syrup attributes such as Brix, Assay, pH using UPLC or HPLC units (may be performed by blending technicians). Calibrate and verify lab equipment; perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot as needed. Perform water treatment duties as described by the Quality Manager. Setup Internal Clean in Place (CIP) procedures as directed. Participate in the Sensory Program where applicable. Enter data from product testing into Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS); review results and respond to out‑of‑spec situations; understand Product Hold program. Assist in writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed. Perform daily lab housekeeping and maintain good manufacturing practices (GMP). Maintain lab testing equipment supplies, order items, and control inventory. Receive and test ingredients where applicable. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years old. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and adherence to safety policies. Regular and prompt attendance is essential. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Maintain a neat, professional appearance per Company guidelines. Maintain safety and security of Company assets. Utilize Company resources and technology. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/training; or 6 + months related experience. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required. In‑depth knowledge of Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) preferred. Effective math, analytical, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving skills. Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to work with functional team members. Self‑motivated and initiative‑driven.
