Where You Will Work:







Join the 2MESG Team at St. Lukes South Shore in Cudahy, WI!



This 28-bed inpatient unit specializes in caring for older adultsprimarily patients aged 70 and abovewhile also serving individuals of all ages with cardiac and neurological conditions. Youll gain experience managing a wide range of diagnoses including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, strokes, TIAs, and seizure disorders. If you're looking for a dynamic environment with diverse patient needs and a strong focus on compassionate care, 2MESG is the place to grow your clinical skills.










Were Looking For:









  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing







  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices







  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association










What Youll Do:











  • Deliver individualized care


    using the nursing processassess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patients needs.









  • Monitor and respond to changes


    in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.









  • Promote patient safety


    by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.









  • Educate patients and families


    , adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.









  • Coordinate care and discharge planning


    through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.









  • Lead and delegate effectively


    , fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.









  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives


    to enhance patient experience and unit performance.









  • Maintain professional growth


    through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities.










Schedule Details/Additional Information:









  • Variable primarily Day shift







  • Every 3rd weekend rotation Day shift







  • Holiday rotation
