Nurse Practitioner | Pediatrics - Critical Care Location: Rochester, NY Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Location: New York Schedule: Approximately 39 hours per week, rotating day and night 13 hour shifts, with on call and callback as outlined in the order details Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide advanced practice coverage in a pediatric cardiac critical care unit. The APP functions as a primary covering provider and should be comfortable managing high acuity congenital cardiac patients in a multidisciplinary ICU environment. Clinical Scope High acuity pediatric cardiac ICU coverage including pre and post operative cardiac surgical patients Care may include management of single ventricle physiology, open chest management, arrhythmias, vasopressors, pacemakers, VA and VV ECMO, and CRRT as outlined in the order details Procedural knowledge is essential, though the role is not primarily procedural Unit may occasionally support adult congenital heart disease patients and other critical care boarders as outlined in the order details Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license in good standing Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric cardiac ICU experience as an APP BLS and PALS Preferred Qualifications Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification Credentialing Credentialing timelines vary by facility as outlined in the order details Travel and Lodging Travel is supported as outlined in the order details Benefits Malpractice insurance coverage Weekly electronic pay Refer & earn program: Earn $2,000 per referral.
