Client is looking for Someone with Airbus FMS experience specifically as a plus and UI experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Avionics Software Engineers to support Flight Management System (FMS) development activities for a leading aerospace customer. The role involves software development, enhancement, debugging, and maintenance of Human Machine Interface (HMI) software associated with the Multifunction Control and Display Unit (MCDU). Candidates should possess strong Embedded C++ programming skills and a good understanding of avionics software development environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Strong programming experience in C++ within embedded systems environments.
• Ability to understand existing software architecture, code constructs, and implement enhancements based on Change Requests.
• Experience with software debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
• Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development lifecycle.

Avionics Multi Core Systems Engineer

Melbourne FL(Onsite)

Mandatory: Avionics Systems Engineer, multi-core analysis, AC 20 193 (previously CAST 32A), hardware development, hardware interference

Qualifications You Must Have:

Experience with multi core processor products in safety-critical environments.

Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) experience in safety critical environments.

Embedded hardware development and verification experience.

Experience or knowledge of AC 20 193 (previously CAST 32A).

Experience defining hardware interference channels.

Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a Systems Engineer or related role. In the alternative, must possess at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or related role would be acceptable.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Embedded system design and verification experience.
• Experience analyzing system behavior and performance impacts in multi core architectures.
• Background developing benchmarks or micro benchmarks for embedded systems to test and analyze a multi-core platform.
• Must possess at least 3 years of experience with experience with safety-critical development standards, including: DO-178C, DO-254, DO-297, AC20-193, or ARP4754B.
• Experience with FAA CAST-32A objectives, including investigation of multi-core interference channels, documentation and analysis of results, as well as methods to support independent third party certification

Job Title: Sr. Engineer, Software

Must Have- DO-178 Development & Verification experience (In Service Engineer)

Need to have test automation experience in Python & Shell script. Should be good in identifying the root cause of field issues reported.

Summary - The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for analysis, design, development, debugging and modification of embedded control software for electronics applications such as controllers, PFC based 3-phase Active Rectifiers, Motor Control, DC-DC Convertors and AC Drives for harsh and hazardous environments for the commercial aerospace products..

The Sr. Engineer, Software will take ownership and/or support technical engineering teams and projects related to W&W System Components. Using sound engineering principles, this engineer will interface with cross functional groups (internal and external) to ensure robust, airworthy designs are attained which meet budget, schedule and internal requirements and goals. This leadership position will be responsible for participating in and leading improvement activities at a group and/or company level

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced control algorithms for power electronic applications
• Develop control system software requirements to write embedded code for 3-phase Active Rectifier, Motor Control electronics
• Contributes to system design and independently develops subsystem designs that meet the requirements. Considers tradeoffs between requirements, cost and reliability in the choice of a design approach
• Test/debug power electronics controllers, Source and assembly level debugging
• Optimize software performance by working with control system engineers
• Work with suppliers to review control software design.
• Lead or support software design review activities. Interface with vendors, customers and other departments on technical issues
• Independently owns, or leads a team for small/medium size software development.
• Reviews, checks and approves work done by peers and lower level engineers.
• Provides guidance and training to lower level engineers.
• Assesses standard work and support or lead improvement projects.

• Provides input to program and project managers
• Perform RTCA/DO-178 based process tasks and generate PSAC, SDP, SVP, SCMP, SQAP, SCI, and SAS documents
• Understands, follows, and promotes, ZWWS policies and procedures
• Process engineering changes in the development of water and waste systems and equipment
• Documents findings and trade studies

The Principal Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the research, analysis, design, development, testing, debugging and modification of electronics equipment such as VFMDs (Variable Frequency Motor Drives) for vacuum generators and air compressors (ACIM/BLDC), AC/DC Power Converters (3-$B&5(B), 28V DC Valve Controllers, and W&W System Controllers for commercial aerospace industry.

The Principal Electronics Engineer will take ownership and/or support technical engineering teams and projects related to W&W System Components. Using sound engineering principles, this engineer will interface with cross functional groups (internal and external) to ensure robust, airworthy designs are attained which meet budget, schedule and internal requirements and goals.
