RN-Clinical Coordinator Oncology Department

Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of RN-Clinical Coordinator for our Oncology Department. This job is permanent, full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
• During tour of duty, maintains constant communication between all nursing areas and the reception area in order to facilitate a smooth throughput of patients.
• Provides basic direct patient care as needed.
• Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Provides "just in time" education for staff during tour of duty.
• Assists physicians with procedures.
• Reports all incidents or unusual events to their proper supervisor.
• Understands and practices within the scope of practice as a RN.
• Abides by and promotes the behavioral performance standards as set by the facility.

Minimum Education

Associate's degree in Nursing: Preferred X Required

Required Licenses

[Tennessee, United States] Registered Nurse

Current Registered Nurse License in State of Tennessee or another compact state: Preferred X Required

Required Skills/Certifications:

The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:

X Basic Life Support (BLS)
