JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the highly skilled, discipline specific,technical operationsof Show Control/Show Systemswithin Universal Horror Unleashed(UHU). Completes installations, routine maintenance and repairs asassignedtoensure showquality and positive guest experience. Ensures safety of self, guests,and other Team Members by taking proper safety precautions,following both state and company specific standards. Provides installations,show control modifications,and re-programmingfortheassistancefor anyEntertainmentsetand designchangesforthe operation, seasonal offerings, andspecial events,ensuring proper installation from a safety and design perspective.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as key Show Controls/Show Systemstechnicalexpert for Universal Horror Unleashed. Installs,operates, andmaintainsshow control and show system technology and equipment as designed. Completes routine maintenance on allshow control and show systemsequipment to ensure safety standards and proper daily operation. Supports show control modifications and re-programmingeffortsin partnership with Entertainmentformaintainingthe creative intent andintegration of new concepts/designs. Performsroutine inspections and preventative measuresincluding but not limited to file andshow systems equipment checksandtesting,archivingandbacking up show files, installation and maintenancereviews ofsoftware updates,andleadingcalibration or replacement of Show Control components as needed on the UHUShow Control Systems.These show control systems includeMedialon, Q-SYS, Arduino, RaspberryPIand Networked systems (audio, lighting, video), and morewhich requirecontinuous inspections to ensurean efficientoperation. Troubleshootssystem failures and provide immediate and long-term corrective actions that will improve operation reliability and safety. Involves researching solutions for defective componentsand instructional information to complete the repair process whenrequired. This entails logical extensive troubleshooting,referencing oftechnical drawings/manuals and specifications and tracking history of past failures and solutions. Assistsin implementing show quality and performance standards as defined by Entertainment and Technical Management.Provides data entry into a logged tracking systemincludinginspections, corrective actions, and/or repairs made while listing parts required andutilizedto maintain accuracy of usage. Responsible for effectively communicating necessary information,pertaining tothe technical operation of UHU to both upper management and affected Team Members. Completes necessary reporting through the propersystemsincludingMaximoto ensure effective communication between shifts as well as with Technical Management and Technical Coordinators. Maintains a working knowledge of Q-SYS and otherEntertainmentshow systems, staying up to date with industry standards, tools, technologies to find more efficient ways tooperateand high show quality.Completes all state and company mandated training andmaintainsanyrequired license renewals. Understand and activelyparticipatein Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDXpolicy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs)required. Knowledge ofMedialon, Q-SYS, Arduino,and Raspberry PI Programming. Experience incomputernetworking, infrastructure,and troubleshootingsystems. Strong Problem-Solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Any required local and state certifications including OSHA 10 and Q-SYS Level 1. Q-SYSLevel 2VisionSuiteCertification is preferred. Must be able to obtain LVMPD Non-Gaming work card upon employment.

EDUCATION :

Associate’sdegreein related fieldispreferred.

EXPERIENCE :

3+yearsofshow controls/show systemsexperienceisrequired, 1+ year of experiencewithin the professional entertainment or themed entertainment industryispreferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
