Role Responsibilities: Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients during outpatient appointments. With each hospital function,assistveterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow. Obtain pertinent health history and information from clients andmaintainmedical charts. Assistinmaintainingrelevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. Perform anesthesia and sedation induction and monitoring, dentistry including dental radiographs and charting, obtain diagnostic radiographs, and provide nursing care as instructed by the DVM to hospitalized patients. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, surgical suite, exam rooms, and labs. Prepare patients, medications and equipment for examinations, surgery, dentistry and sedated procedures. Collect and prepare patient lab samples for in‑house and reference lab diagnostic screening. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance onThrive Membershipoptions, medications, andadditionaltreatments. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Experience & Skills Requirements: Current Washington State Veterinary Technician license.
