Dialysis RN

A dialysis center in the Tampa, Florida area is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient care team. This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality hemodialysis treatment to patients managing chronic and acute kidney conditions, with an emphasis on patient education, care continuity, and close monitoring throughout each session. Responsibilities Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols Monitor patients throughout treatment, identifying and responding to complications promptly Assess vascular access sites and manage catheter, fistula, or graft care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, dietary considerations, and self-care between sessions Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with the broader nephrology team Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida (or active multistate/compact RN license) Current BLS certification Dialysis/nephrology nursing experience strongly preferred; new-to-dialysis RNs with strong acute care backgrounds may be considered Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education support and tuition assistance Employee assistance program Career growth and specialty certification support Compensation: Competitive, depends on work experience + bonuses Equal Opportunity Statement: This employer is an equal opportunity employer.
