Police Officer

Overview The City of Pleasant Hill, MO is hiring Police Officers. The position offers the opportunity to serve the community in a professional environment that supports teamwork, development, and a community-focused atmosphere. Base pay range $24.00/hr - $36.00/hr Essential Functions Patrols the City and maintains law and order by responding to 911 calls, calls for service, crime scenes, medical emergencies, in-progress crimes, and motor vehicle accidents. Investigates criminal disturbances and conducts traffic stops; follows up on cases as needed. Collects and processes physical evidence from crime scenes; labels and books evidence; prepares technical reports for use in court; testifies in court as required. Maintains records and files. Attends ongoing training; maintains certifications. All other duties as assigned.
