About Us

We are a small general practice in the  San Gabriel Valley  and we are looking for an entry level dental assistant to help doctor take care of her patients. Our focus is for a personal experience and providing a great patient care. We want every patient to feel like  family as we attend to their oral health care.

The position is  Monday thru Thursday(Varies) from 8 am to 5 pm , with a one hour lunch. We want you to be able to communicate well with patient, doctor, other staff members and vendors. We expect you to be organized, to have attention to detail, to anticipate doctors needs, to follow  OSHA guidelines and to provide patient's with a positive experience.

Our office is located on Foothill Blvd. in Monrovia. We are right next to a  Starbucks!

Qualifications

• Dental assistant certification
• CPR card current
• Certificate of completion for Infection Control, Dental Practice Act,  Radiation x-ray certificate , HIPPA
• Bilingual in  Spanish is required.
• Be able to take digital x-rays (FMX) quickly , with diagnosable images.
• Comfortable with Charting on a  Dentrix program.
• Knowledge of various dental procedures and instruments.

Duties

• Provide chairside duties with doctor during patient care.
• Prepare operatories, disinfect and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain dental machines, tools, and handpieces.
• Take impressions, pour up models and trim them.
• Perform inventory of all dental supplies and order them.
• Maintain office flow.
• Help the front desk when needed
• Light housekeeping

Pay will vary on experience level and ability to maintain a smooth schedule.  Apply only if within stated salary range.
