Bayside Kubota Parts Advisor/Counter Person

Bayside Kubota in Upper Marlboro, MD is currently looking to hire a Parts Advisor/Counter Person. We are growing and as a result of this expansion, we are looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to join our dealer group.

Essential functions include:

• Obtain customer and equipment info prior to arrival, when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Clearly write up customers' equipment problems accurately and efficiently.
• Handle telephone inquiries and follow up on customers' voicemail messages.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Process customer payment transactions to complete billing of repairs.
• Advise customers on the care of their equipment and the value of maintaining their equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Help to coordinate the pick up and return of equipment via dealership's delivery services.
• Work closely with technicians, parts department, sales department, and all other employees within the dealership to achieve a common goal.

Qualifications include:

• Preferably one to two years' experience as a Parts Advisor/Counter Person but not necessary.
• A strong passion working with people and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license with a good record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A self-motivator with strong attention to detail.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• A results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days must be flexible to include evening hours and weekends.
