- Conducting detailed assessments of patients, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and developing personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions either independently or through collaboration with fellow physicians
- Providing education to both patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and managing health conditions
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure well-rounded patient care
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license specifically for the state of California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days)
- Strong clinical insights complemented by a compassionate approach to patient care
