Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with Level III NICU experience to provide comprehensive care for critically ill neonates. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide general NICU care including developmental care and patient/family education.
• Perform phlebotomy, thermoregulation, blood glucose monitoring, and phototherapy.
• Administer blood and blood products; manage A-lines, central lines, and IV starts.
• Administer and monitor medications including anti-seizure, antibiotics, and vasopressors.
• Support breastfeeding, manage NG/NJ tube placements, and coordinate nutritional care.
• Oversee respiratory support including Bubble CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management.
• Conduct sepsis workups and follow isolation precautions as necessary.
• Actively participate in on-call coverage for winter holidays as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NJ or Compact RN license.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience.
• Experience with advanced NICU interventions including ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, and ventilator management preferred.
• Familiarity with charting in EPIC is required.
