Saw Operator / SetupThe Saw Operator / Setup prepares and cuts raw material to specified length and condition for machining and other downstream operations. This position safely sets up, operates, monitors, and maintains assigned saw equipment; verifies material identity and cut quality; maintains required traceability and records; and ensures material released to the next operation conforms to approved job documentation and customer requirements. Operates forklift to support job duties.Follow established quality procedures, documentation, and safety guidelines in a fast-paced production environment.Support quick changeovers and efficient production flow to meet customer delivery expectations.Assist the Foreman by overseeing the production in the Saw Department.High School/GED Required. Associated/Certificate a Plus.This position can be entry level for the right candidate. 3+ years experience operating and setting up a saw is preferred. Strong blueprint reading, along with solid shop math skills. Ability to hold tolerances in a production environment. Comfort working in a smaller, team-oriented shop where versatility and reliability matter. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.First (Day) Shift. 1 Opening. No Public Transportation Accessible.
