Manufacturing Engineering TechnicianComSonics Manufacturing Solutions in Weyers Cave, VA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our innovative team!We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for technology and manufacturing. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our engineering team to create, verify, and refine assembly documentation-ensuring accuracy and seamless compatibility with production processes and equipment.If you're ready to put your technical skills to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Review drawings and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and interface with mating assemblies.Write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation using plain language for Manufacturing to repeatedly produce products.Assist in prototype builds of new assemblies and conduct training for staff.Identify process improvements to enhance quality, improve productivity, or reduce costs.Initiate and assist with implementation of Engineering Change Notices.Understand and perform programming and operational functions for key equipment: AOI, Pick and Place, Wavesolder, Aqueous Cleaning, Reflow Profiling, Screen Printers, X-Ray, BGA Rework, etc.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.One year of experience in a manufacturing, electronic, or engineering environment.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Employee Ownership - As an employee-owned company, when the company thrives, you benefit too!Career Growth - Opportunities to advance in a dynamic and innovative environment.Comprehensive Health Coverage - Ensuring you and your family are well cared for.Wellness Support - Resources to help you stay healthy.Paid Time Off - Because work-life balance matters.Base Salary Range: $19.28 - $26.04This salary range represents the compensation ComSonics reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting and has been established in good faith based on current market data, internal pay practices, and applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined within this range based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. Offers are typically aligned within the lower to mid-range of the salary band, depending on experience and alignment with role requirements. Incentive Compensation:• Positions not eligible for commission may be eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Bonus opportunities are based on role level and are subject to individual and company performance. Any bonus is not guaranteed and is governed by the terms of the applicable incentive plan.• Positions eligible for commission participate in a commission-based compensation plan. Commission earnings are based on individual performance and applicable sales plans.
