Full-Time, Part-Time | Hourly | On-Property

Fairlane Hotel is a 79-room hotel in downtown Nashville with a full-service restaurant and three kitchens. Our kitchen team values quality, consistency, and craft.

Fairlane Hotel is hiring a full or part time line cook to prepare, cook, and plate dishes to our standards while keeping a clean, organized station.

This role keeps food quality, consistency, and timing on point during service, helps manage inventory and waste, and works closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team.

• Stock your station with the ingredients and supplies you need before service
• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, and soups
• Cook menu items using the recipe and method required, such as grilling, frying, or sauteing, and plate to standard
• Prepare food on time and to our quality and presentation standards
Cleanliness & Inventory:
• Keep your station clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment at the end of each shift
• Check inventory levels and complete storage logs to reduce waste
Team Collaboration:
• Work with other kitchen staff and servers so orders come out efficiently and on time
• Communicate clearly with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef about station needs and service pace
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
• Able to work in a fastpaced, highpressure kitchen
• Works well with a team
• Able to stand for long periods in a hot kitchen
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally
Preferred:
• Previous line cook or kitchen experience
• Culinary training or coursework
SCHEDULE

Shifts vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is an on-property position.
