Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: Variable shifts with weekend coverage (Friday-Sunday rotation); call responsibilities typically include one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks; patient ratio 1:1

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialty with exposure to complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Holiday coverage required; assignment includes winter holiday period

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD, and vascular surgeries
• Experience with scrubbing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date

• Holiday work requirements apply based on assignment length and holiday distribution
• Orientation hours are non-billable and determined by contract length
• All compliance requirements must be completed by deadline to ensure timely start
