The candidate must demonstrate compassion for patient needs, possess great attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. What You’ll Be Doing Provide Upperline services in a clinic setting; staff membership at the hospital will be expected. Assess patients presenting lower extremity complaints, review medical history, listen to concerns, perform a physical examination, order appropriate imaging or labs, and develop and implement a clinical plan of care. Offer comprehensive foot and ankle care, including at‑risk foot care, painful conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate. Give advice and instructions on foot care and educate patients and families about general wellness, medication usage, side effects, adherence, and prevention. Maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations and Upperline Health standards and policy. Participate in continuing education required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine. Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine. Perform other related duties as deemed necessary. Experience and Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with appropriate certification and licensure (required). DPM license required – active license preferred or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe. Strong compassion for patients and their families. Possession of DEA registration or eligibility (required). CPR certification expected and must meet state Board of Podiatric Medicine requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure effective and meaningful interactions with patients, family caregivers, clinicians, and team members.
