Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and implementing appropriate physical therapy interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.

Position Information

Qualifications

• Certifications: Must hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience: Previous experience in physical therapy preferred but not required. Effective oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for patient care, working alongside Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Techs.
• Assess patients' needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effects, ensuring the accomplishment of both short- and long-term patient goals.
• Recommend changes to physician as necessary based on patient progress.

Patient Population

The Physical Therapist will work with a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including but not limited to:

• Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
• Parkinson's Disease
• Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Orthopedic injuries
• Cardiopulmonary conditions
• Amputees
• Medically complex cases
