Full-Time Dental Assistant

Family Dental Group is seeking a full-time dental assistant for our practice in Decatur, GA!

Located at 4324 Covington HWY Decatur, GA 30035. Just east of the intersection of Covington Hwy and South Hairston Road, near I-285 and the Redan/Belvedere Park area.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, hardworking, motivated and a team player with at least 2 years of chairside assisting experience. Must be patient focused with ability to assist multiple DRs when need arises.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare patients and rooms for procedures
• Sterilize and set up instruments and equipment
• Take X-rays
• Assist dentists with procedures
• Track lab cases
• Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials
• Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
• Schedule patients

Compensation: Based on experience, $18-22/hour, depending on experience and skill set

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
• Fridays 8am - 1pm
• One Saturday per month 8am 1pm
