Data Analyst

Forrest Logistics LLC is hiring a Data Analyst to collect, prepare, analyze, and present transportation industry data to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to deliver reliable, analysis-ready datasets. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau , Power BI , or similar tools to support business operations. Analyze transportation data to surface trends, optimize processes, and improve efficiency. Plan and manage analytics projects from requirements gathering through delivery, including scoping, timelines, and stakeholder updates. Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from multiple departments, prioritizing by business impact. Share actionable insights and recommendations using clear visualizations and presentations. Help establish and document standards for data preparation, analysis, and reporting. Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security when working with sensitive company information. Requirements SQL proficiency, including complex queries, joins, and aggregations. Experience in the transportation or logistics industry. Familiarity with TMS , Azure , or Data Warehouse environments. Experience with data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep or Power Query . Ability to present findings to leadership and non-technical audiences. Working knowledge of Python for data cleaning and analysis. 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role, including building dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI . Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics , Business Analytics , Computer Science , or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
