Data Entry Clerk

Vanceboro, North Carolina, United States Overview The Data Entry Clerk is responsible, in partnership with the supervisor of transportation, for managing the overall day to day tasks of the transportation department. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent and one to two years related experience and/or training; in a similar role. Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Responsibilities Coordinates the activities of the employees in the department Completes all necessary paperwork required by Company and Governmental regulations Must be able to work with outside vendors, external customers as well as internal customers and treat them with professional courtesy Responsible for effective communication via phone and emails to update leadership on delivery status Must be able to comprehend direction to carry out instructions, and to deal with situations as they occur in a professional manner and maintain a professional attitude.
