Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across outlets and events. Ensure smooth and efficient service during all operating hours. Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards. Support the coordination of restaurant, lounge, banquet, and room service operations. Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff. Assist with scheduling and labor management. Conduct team briefings and provide ongoing coaching. Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment. Guest Service Ensure guests receive outstanding hospitality and prompt service. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally. Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service standards. Assist in monitoring budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses. Support inventory management, ordering, and stock control. Help minimize waste and maximize profitability. Monitor cash handling and POS procedures. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all F&B areas. Enforce company policies and operational procedures. Coordinate with culinary and banquet teams for events and functions. Ensure proper setup, staffing, and service execution for meetings and special events. The expected salary for this position is $62,000/annually.
