Job Summary
Cruzteca is looking for a dependable, hardworking Line Cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate follows recipes, works efficiently, maintains a clean station, and works well as part of a team.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Cruzteca recipes and presentation standards.
• Read, understand, and accurately follow recipes and prep sheets
• Read, understand and accurately follow tickets / food orders.
• Set up and stock your station before each shift.
• Maintain speed, consistency, and quality during busy service.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and food-safe throughout the shift.
• Rotate and label products using FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

• Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Experience working grill, sauté, fryer, and/or expo stations.
• Strong knife skills and efficient food preparation techniques.
• Ability to accurately read and follow recipes.
• Understanding of proper food temperatures, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining speed, consistency, and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds .
• Food Handler Certification
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
