AI Automation ConsultantLocation:Hybrid (1 day/week). Candidates located near Irvine, CA or Chicago, IL are strongly preferred for weekly onsite collaboration. Exceptional remote candidates will also be considered.About the OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced AI Automation Consultant to help transform the way our business operates through AI. You'll partner directly with business leaders to evaluate existing workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and implement practical AI solutions that improve efficiency and deliver measurable business impact.The initial focus will be partnering with the Legal team, with the opportunity to expand AI initiatives across Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Claims, IT, and other business functions.This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping AI adoption across the organization while working with modern AI tools, workflow automation platforms, and executive stakeholders.What You'll DoPartner with business leaders to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.Evaluate manual processes and recommend practical automation solutions.Design, build, and implement AI-powered workflows that improve efficiency and reduce repetitive work.Evaluate and deploy AI platforms, copilots, and automation tools that best fit business needs.Integrate AI solutions with existing business systems and applications where appropriate.Train employees on AI tools and help drive adoption across the organization.Develop documentation, best practices, and governance around AI usage.Measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously optimize workflows.Identify additional opportunities to expand AI capabilities across the business.QualificationsExperience leading AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar.Experience with workflow automation platforms including Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar tools.Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into practical AI solutions.Strong communication and consulting skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience integrating AI tools with business applications through APIs or automation platforms.Comfortable working cross-functionally with executives and business leaders.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Legal Operations or corporate legal teams.Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM), document management, or eDiscovery platforms.Knowledge of AI governance, security, and compliance.Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or REST APIs.Demonstrated success delivering measurable ROI through AI and automation initiatives.Preferred TechnologiesChatGPT EnterpriseClaudeMicrosoft CopilotGoogle GeminiMicrosoft Power PlatformCopilot StudioPower Automaten8nZapierMakeMicrosoft 365SharePointPythonREST APIsWhat Success Looks LikeWithin your first several months, you'll gain a deep understanding of the business, identify high-impact AI opportunities, implement practical automation solutions within the Legal department, and establish a roadmap for expanding AI initiatives across the organization.
